On October 4th 2024, we posted an X Roll-Call for the % of Ontario corn and soybean acres harvested up to the end of October 6th.

Soybeans are about 59% complete across the province. With areas that had planting delays in the spring about 20-30% complete. At this time last year, on October 1st we were about 28% complete across the province. In 2022, we were about 25% completed. We are well ahead of the last 2 harvests.

Corn is just starting in some areas, with an estimated 2% complete. A few are reporting that corn is already drier "now" than it was all of harvest in 2023. There was no grain corn harvested at this time last year.
