On May 5th 2024, we posted an X Roll-Call for the % of Ontario corn and soybean acres planted up to the end of May 5th.

Soybeans are essentially still in the shed with all respondents reporting about 1% complete.

Estimate corn planting is 5% complete as of Sunday, May 5th. Significant progress has been made since on lighter texture soils throughout Ontario.

This was our first roll call for the 2024 cropping season, and we look forward to your participation in future polls.

Finally if you farm or work in Lennox Addington, one survey participant respond with almost being complete their corn and soybean planting, I'm sure there is considerable acres to of both crops to go in for that county.
