I have gotten a few comments, why do another harvest survey now? Ever look back at your records, and wonder why you did not have data points to tell the harvest story? Well, future Jonathan said, "I wish I had done that poll." Sometimes it is challenging to tell a story on harvest progress. We are telling the harvest story as it is, snow banks and slow harvest conditions being the main topic of conversation now. Since this poll a few fields have started to come off again as the temperatures have dipped.

On November 28th, 2025, we posted an X Roll-Call for the % of Ontario corn and soybean acres harvested up to the end of November 30th.

Harvest has essentially ground to halt with the winter weather conditions. Any corn left out had been hampered with full elevators, limited corn drying capacity (aka receiving at "dryer" speed) and farmers who had been waiting for moisture levels to drop.

A several points behind last year at this time, with an estimated 91% off as of November 30th, 2025, versus 91% at November 17th, 2024.

Soybeans are still essentially finished, no update on this crop.
