On Friday May 15th, 2025, we posted an X Roll-Call for the % of Ontario corn and soybean acres planted up to the end of Sunday May 17th, 2025.

Soybeans - With all respondents reporting we are about 43% complete, about 16% behind 2025 (59%). Considering how cold this spring has been, reasonable to expect acres to be behind 2025.

Corn - Estimate we are 71% complete in 2026 vs 83% in 2025. Have yet to have of any replants given the cold soil conditions, fingers crossed at this point.

We continue to have 100% completion from Lennox + Addington. If you are from that area, please participate in our next survey.

This was our second roll call for the 2026 cropping season, and we look forward to your participation in future polls. These maps are built with data from both X survey participants and from our Cropwalker group of field observers.

Stay tuned for our next roll call.

Thank you to FMC for sponsoring our 2026 planting progress reports.
